The next expansion for Stronghold Crusader 2, The Emperor & The Hermit adds seven missions, two AI opponents, 10 achievements, additional shields for players and new unique castle models for The Emperor and The Hermit. New missions, beware of the weight of the holy lands. Because the next pair of lords who will compete for the desert bring with them a tireless religious group. After years of isolated reverence, the Hermit was blinded by his independent claim to sacred authority. He now commands legions of assassins, making sure his enemies see no more of him in his approaching armies. Next comes the Emperor, who will not shy away from anything to expand his kingdom to the Far Middle East, using the vast armies he has in command. Cunning tactics and combat intelligence will be required to fight through the seven skirmishes and three maps found in the "The Emperor & The Hermit" skirmish route, with a curve of increased difficulty and more than before.
